Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 8 pm at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, Lana Del Rey will make a concert for the Gala de la Croix Rouge. This fabulous evening allows the Croix Rouge of Monaco to express his gratitude to the generous donors, and greet the actions performed using the collected donations.
In Presence of S.A.S Prince Albert II, President of the Monaco Croix Rouge, accompanied by S.A.S Princess Charlene and S.A.R Princess Caroline, this charity social event held annually at the Salle des Etoiles of the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
Founded in 1948 by Prince Louis II of Monaco, the Monaco Croix Rouge adopted since its creation organizing shows for his benefit. The same year they launched the first Gala of the Croix Rouge of Monaco, led by the young Prince Rainier III.
Among the artists who have taken center stage at the Salle des Etoiles to host the Gala of the Croix Rouge Monegasque, there are Maurice Chevalier, Ella Fitzgerald, Sacha Distel, Josephine Baker, Line Renaud, Frank Sinatra, Julio Iglesias, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Anastacia and more recently Tom Jones, Joe Cocker, or Eros Ramazzotti and Bob Sinclar.
This is not the first time that the US singer-songwriter comes to Monaco. In January 2012 she released her second album ‘Born To Die’. That was when, for the first time, the diva occurs at the Opera Garnier, invited by the Artistic Director of the Société des Bains de Mer. Meanwhile, in November 2012 Lana releases her third Extended Play ‘Paradise’. In June 2014 the artist released his third album ‘Ultraviolence’ and participates in the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival. And it was in July 2016, again at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival, the diva occurs again on stage.
Glamorous atmosphere and prestigious prizes … The show starts with the traditional draw for the raffle, followed by a sumptuous meal with summer flavors, after which S.A.S Prince Albert II opens the ball. Then, the traditional fireworks lighting up the Monegasque sky to the delight of the guests. A wonderful way for them to continue the evening a Ball that is still much to dream …
