This weekend was held the Act II of the M32 Series Mediterranean where Guido Miani of Neverland Team has finished third.
This is the first time the competition is held in the Principality and this will not be the last to ensure the success of the event, satisfied feedback from competitors and enjoyment of spectators attend from the new dike.
During these 12 races, 5 crews chained sleeves 15 minutes at a steady pace. After 6 races on Friday 22 July, the provisional classification was then very tight:
- Riccardo Simoneschi (Italia Sailing Team) 12 pts
- Richard Davies (Section 16) 13 pts
- Guido Miani (Team Neverland) 15 pts
- Jacopo Plazzi (FCC Team) 22 pts
- Hakan Svensson (Vikings) 28 pts
The Italian and Swiss teams were neck and neck and our competitor, member of the Yacht Club de Monaco, do not budge with just 2 points behind. Miani also won 2 races.
This Saturday was scheduled 7 races but due to heavy weather conditions, 5 M32 remained docked, referring suspense overnight.
Sunday 6 races of the 7 planned initially took place, still thrilling and tight, which ended with the Italian victory, closely followed by Swiss and crew Miani.

After his victory in Porto Venere, the Italian team won again the race and Simoneschi manifest the joy of his stay in the Principality: “Beyond the sport results, I am so glad to be in Monaco. As I imagined, the infrastructure of the Yacht Club de Monaco are really adapted to accommodate our series fits perfectly on this lake. “Similarly for Miani that displays his enthusiasm: “It was fantastic to be here in Monaco this high-level plateau, some competitors such come from the Olympic sailing. This boat is very attractive and pleasant to steer. The M32 has once again demonstrated that it can navigate in all types of weather. Looking forward to the next stage! “
